Zhu Ruilei, female, Doctor in Reading, Lecturer. In 1997, she graduated from the Chinese Department of Shandong Normal University. In 2005, she graduated from the Chinese Culture College of Beijing Normal University with a master's degree in Teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL). Her main research areas are: theory and practice of TCFL; theory and practice of language testing; modern Chinese lexicology.
Teaching experience: She has been engaged in TCFL since 2003. She mainly teaches international students basic language courses such as intensive reading, speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as optional language courses such as correcting Chinese pronunciation and Chinese performances; teaches undergraduate students courses such as "General Introduction of TCFL", "Language Testing Theory and Practice" and "Language Testing and Evaluation"; and teaches courses such as "Spoken Chinese Teaching Methodology" for overseas Chinese teacher training.
Main academic achievements: The main research projects undertaken include: Research and Development Project of New HSK (NOCFL Project), Chinese Teacher Training Course in Mongolia (NOCFL Project). She has published textbooks such as Easy Business Chinese--Intermediate Chinese Listening, Easy Chinese - Intermediate Chinese Listening and Performance in Learning Chinese.
