Zhen Zhen, female, Lecturer, Ph.D., graduated from Shandong University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese Language and Literature. In 2008, she graduated from Beijing Normal University with a master's degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. In 2014, she graduated from Beijing Normal University with a doctoral degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. Her main research areas are modern Chinese grammar and teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL).
Teaching experience: She has been engaged in TCFL since 2006. She mainly teaches courses such as primary spoken Chinese, preparatory Chinese Comprehensive, listening, and Chinese pronunciation correction for international students.
Overseas experience: From 2012 to 2014, she taught at the Confucius Institute at the University of Adelaide, Australia.
Academic Achievements: Research projects in which she participated include: Research on the Acquisition of Chinese Physical Appearances for International Students (National Social Science Project, Participation), and Research and Construction of Cultural Teaching Video Resources in the Context of Chinese International Communication (Ministry of Education Project, Participation). The textbooks involved in the compilation include Listening and Speaking Course of Medical Chinese, Mock Test Set of New HSK Level 6, Mock Test of New HSK Level 5, and Mock Test of New HSK Level 4. Her published academic papers include: Contemporary Study on the Construction Pattern of Subjective Degree of Adjectives in Modern Chinese ("Language Application"), Study on Modern Chinese Subjective Extreme Construction Pattern "as A as possible ("Chinese Language Learning"), Study on the Subjective Appraisal of Modern Spoken Chinese "That’s really A" ("Language Teaching and Linguistic Studies").
