Zhao Yue, female, Associate Professor, PH.D, Master Tutor, graduated from the College of International Education of Shandong University with a Ph.D. in Language and Culture Communication. Her main research areas are language and cultural communication, theory and practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL).


Teaching experience: She has been engaged in TCFL since 2004. She is the head of the curriculum of the "International Communication of Chinese Culture (Bilingual)" which is the core course of SDU.For international students, she mainly teaches language courses and HSK guidance; for undergraduates, she teaches "International Communication of Chinese Culture (Bilingual)" and " Educational Principles"; For graduate students she teaches " Introduction of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language", "Chinese Culture and Intercultural Communication"; For overseas Chinese teacher training she teaches courses such as the “Teaching Method of TCFL”.


Overseas experience: From 2008 to 2009, she went to Jiaquan University (Gengyuan University) in South Korea as an exchange professor to teach Chinese and deliver lectures about Chinese culture. She often works as a NOCFL expert to give academic lectures at Confucius Institutes in Korea, Singapore and other countries and train the local Chinese language teachers to improve their teaching abilities.

Academic Achievements: The main research projects undertaken include:Research on Digital Teaching Resources and Curriculum Construction Based on the General Situation of ChinaLanguage Education and Cooperation Center Project of Ministry of Education, presided Research on Cultural Communication and Cultural Innovation from the Perspective of International Comparison(Shandong Social Science Planning Project, presided), the Generation of Cultural Creative Product in Confucius Institute and Intercultural Communication Research(Shandong Humanities and Social Sciences Project, presided), Construction and Communication Value Research of Cultural Communication Network of Confucius Institute (Shandong Social Science Planning Project, presided), Research and Development of New HSK (NOCFL Project, participation), Study on the Cultural Process of Chinese Education(National Education Science Fifteenth Project, Participation). The published national textbooks mainly include Profile of China (second), Chinese Course and Teaching Theory (cooperation).
