Zhang Yun, female, Ph.D, Associate Professor.
Her main research areas are Studies on Confucius Institute, Language and Culture Communication, and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.
Teaching experience: She opens a professional compulsory course "Class Design of Chinese Teaching in Class" for undergraduates, and offers courses such as "Intermediate Intensive Reading" and "Advanced Visual Listening and Speaking" for international students.
Overseas experience: She went to Dongseo University in South Korea for a year in 2009, teaching language courses and giving lectures on Chinese culture. In 2018, she was invited as a NOCFL expert to the Confucius Institute at Dongseo University in South Korea and to the Confucius Institute at Chungnam University for academic lectures and gave Chinese students, who were volunteers there as language teachers, instructions on how to improve their teaching abilities.
Scientific research projects: She presided over the Shandong Provincial Social Science Planning Project-- Curriculum System Construction and Branding Research of Confucius Institute and Shandong Provincial Social Science Service Decision-making Consultation Project-- Study on Confucius Institute and Chinese Culture International Communication Research; participated in three national and provincial projects including R&D of the New HSK, and 2 school-level projects including Application and Innovation of In-Class Case Study in Colleges and Universities.
Academic Achievements: She published many papers such as The Confucius Institute Brand Experience Research Based on Grounded Theory, Research on the Influence Mechanism of Brand Relationship of Educational Service Organizations - Based on the Empirical Study of Confucius Institutes; and published 6 textbooks and teaching aids for TCFL.
