Sun Xuexiao, female, Associate Professor, Doctor.
She graduated from the School of Literature of Shandong University with a Ph.D. degree in Chinese Ancient Literature.
She mainly engaged in the study of Chinese classical poetics, language and cultural communication.
Teaching experience: Offering a major compulsory course--"Chinese Ancient Literature" for undergraduates, "Traditional Literal Cultivation" and "Guide to Chinese Classics" for graduates of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, and "Written Chinese", "Advanced Chinese Reading and Writing" and "Reading and Writing" for international students.
Academic Achievements: She once collated and published independently the classical book Helin Yulu (Shanghai Classics Publishing House), Poetry and Paintings of the Tang Dynasty (Shanghai Classics Publishing House), Poetry and Paintings (Shanghai Classics Publishing House), collaborated to collate and publish Jiajing Songjiangfuzhi (Shanghai Classics Publishing House), published many academic papers such as Reviewing the Causes for Gu Yanwu’s Never-back North Tour, On the Songs of Du Fu, Taking "Fu" as the Words: Liu Yong's Down-to-earth Style, The Dream of Red Mansions and Dufu’s Poems, On the indirect and euphemistic beauty of Xin Qiji's verses, Research of Gu Yanwu’s Poetry in the 20th Century in "Journal of Tsinghua University", "Hebei Academic Journal", "Academic Journal of the Dream of Red Mansions", "Qilu Academic Journal" and "Shandong Social Science" and other core journals. Her papers were once reposted completely by "Copy Newspapers and Periodicals of Renmin University of China" and "Xinhua Digest".
Teaching Achievements: She honored the "First Prize of the Fifth University Youth Teaching Competition of Shandong Province" in 2018, "My Favorite Teacher of Shandong University" in 2018, and "First Prize of Young Teachers' Lecture Competition of Shandong University" in 2017, 2017 The 10th "Youth Teaching Experts" of Shandong University, participated in a course construction project of the Ministry of Education (third place) called "Shenyun Poetry Research", which won the "National Quality Course".
