Fang Xue, Ph.D. in reading, Lecturer. In 2008, she graduated from the College of International Education of Shandong University with a master's degree in Language and Cultural Communication.
Her main research areas:
Teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL) and history of cultural exchange between China and foreign countries
Overseas experience:
From May 2007 to June 2008, she worked as an international Chinese volunteer teacher in Chonburi, Thailand;
From September 2016 to July 2018, she served as a government-supported teacher at the Confucius Institute in Brittany, France.
Work experience:
She has been engaged in TCFL at the College of International Education of Shandong University since September 2008. She mainly teaches compulsory courses such as intensive reading, speaking, reading and writing of primary, intermediate and advanced Chinese; participates in the preparatory education program for international students in China, teaches them such courses as Chinese comprehensive, vocabulary, conversation, grammar and comprehensive; participates in the National Development Bank - Shandong University Chinese Training Program, teaches the students from that project such courses as Chinese comprehensive, vocabulary and reading; takes on a number of NOCFL short-term training projects during the summer and winter vacations; also takes charge of the teaching management in the Chinese Teaching Department and the Department of Coming to China Project.
