She graduated from the Chinese Department of Shandong University in 1983 with a bachelor's degree. In 1988, she graduated from the Chinese Department of Shandong University with a master's degree. In 2007, she graduated from the School of Literature and Journalism of Shandong University with a Doctoral degree. Her main research areas are: Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL); Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature.


Teaching experience: Since 1983, she has been engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In 1993, she was awarded the title of "Excellent Teacher of Shandong University"; in 1994, she won the second prize of the first "Shandong University Young Teacher Lecture Competition"; in 2004, she was awarded the title of Second "Teaching Expert" of Shandong University. She gives various lessons. For international students, she offers language compulsory courses such as "Intensive Reading", "Speaking", "Listening", "Listening and Writing" and optional courses such as "Contemporary Chinese Grammar"; for postgraduates, she teaches "Grammatical System on Chinese Language Teaching " (dual degree) and " Contemporary Chinese"; for undergraduates, courses such as "Study on TCFL", "Studies on Chinese Based on Second Language Teaching", "Special Studies on Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages", "Elements of Chinese Teaching Methodology", "Analysis on Grammar and Errors in Chinese Language Teaching"; for doctoral students, she teaches "Second Language Education". In addition, she taught "Introduction of contemporary Chinese", "Chinese Grammar and Grammar Teaching", "Chinese Vocabulary Teaching" and "New Chinese Words and Phrases" and other training courses for overseas Chinese teacher groups.


Overseas experience: From 1998 to 2001, as a Government-Funded Chinese teacher, she taught at the Department of Chinese Studies at the University of Vienna, Austria. In September 2005, she served as a NOCFL-dispatched expert to offer Chinese training courses for Chinese teachers at the Mongolian National University; in August 2007, served as a NOCFL-dispatched expert to offer Chinese teacher training courses at the Confucius Institute of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. In June 2011, as a NOCFL-dispatched expert, she went again to the Confucius Institute at the National University of Mongolia to offer Chinese training courses for Chinese teachers. In November 2016, as a NOCFL-dispatched expert, she went to the Confucius Institute at the Yonsei University, South Korea to offer Chinese training courses for Chinese teachers.


Main academic achievements: She undertook many scientific research projects such as "Language Selection of Chinese Literature in the 20th Century" (General Program of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, presided), "Chinese Teacher Training Research Based on Chinese International Promotion Strategy" (Shandong Social Science Planning Research Project, presided), "Research and Development of Mongolian Chinese Teacher Training Courses" (NOCFL project, second), "Creative Transformation and Innovative Development of Chinese Traditional Culture" (National Social Science Fund Project, second), "Study on the Civilization , Culture and Construction of a Harmonious World" (National Social Science Fund Project, participated). She independently wrote and published several academic monographs: Language Selection and Stylistic Evolution in the Period of New Literature, The Unsettled Curtain--The Philosophical Interpretation of Classical Drama, and Dictionary of Modern Common Spoken Chinese; co-published the Collection of Cultural Essays How far is Europe from us, TCFL textbooks like New Intermediate Chinese and New Ladders; compiled the Teaching Method for TCFL. In recent years, she has published On the Prose Language in the Emerging Period of Modern Chinese Literature, Artistic Features and Cultural Charm of Chinese, The Possibility of Chinese Being a Strong Language and Its Implementing Strategy, On the Language Transmutation and Drama Creation in the Emerging Period of Modern Literature, The Combination and Simplification of Quantifiers, The Negative Influence of the New Culture Movement from the Contemporary Destiny of Poetry, Analysis of the Multi-dimensional Complementary Strategies of Grammar Teaching in Advanced Stage Intensive Reading Course, Analysis of Korean Students' Prepositional Errors and Targeted Teaching Strategies, Analysis of Nationalized Training Strategies for Overseas Chinese Teachers, Cognitive Difficulties and Acquisition Errors on the mode of "For X " and other academic papers in "Literary Review", " Literature & Art Studies", "Journal of Peking University", " Seeking Truth", "Journal of Shandong University", "Shandong Social Sciences", " TCSOL Studies", "Journal of Yunnan Normal University"(TCFL Edition), "Overseas Chinese Education", " Language Teaching and Linguistic Studies" and other journals.


Awards:

Papers: 1. The possibility of Chinese becoming a strong language and its implementing strategy won the third prize of the 19th Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award of Shandong Province in 2005; 2. The Artistic Features and Cultural Charm of Chinese in 2010 was awarded the 6th Shandong Liu Xie Literary Review Award; 3. On the Prose Language of the Emerging Period of Modern Chinese Literature won the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award of Shandong Higher Education in 2010, and won the second prize of the 25th Social Science Outstanding Achievement of Shandong Province in 2011. Instrumental books: Contemporary Common Spoken Chinese Dictionary won the third prize of the 1996 Shandong University Social Science Outstanding Achievements. Textbook: New Intermediate Chinese (co-author) won the second prize of Shandong University Excellent Textbook in 2002.
