Du Wenqian

Du Wenqian, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master Tutor. She is currently the director of the Department of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at the College of International Education, Shandong University. In 2006, she graduated from the School of Literature and Journalism of Shandong University with a doctoral degree. She mainly engaged in language and cultural communication, teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages, comparative literature and world literature and other fields of research.


Teaching experience: She offers courses such as Chinese Culture and Its Communication, Chinese Culture and Its Versatility for graduate students; Introduction of Intercultural Communication for undergraduates, and various kinds of basic Chinese courses and contemporary Chinese culture courses for international students.


Overseas experience: She went as a visiting professor to Dongseo University in South Korea, and as a national NOCFL expert to the Confucius Institute at the National University of Mongolia for teacher training.

Awards: She won the second prize in the Young Teachers' Lecture Competition of Shandong University in 2016-2017, 2017-2018 semester spans, and won the title of 9th Young Teaching Expert of Shandong University.
