Recently, Shandong Education Association for International Exchange announced the list of outstanding courses on Chinese national conditions education for international students and social practice activity bases for Chinese and foreign youth in 2024. Shandong University was approved for one outstanding course on Chinese national conditions education for international students and one social practice activity base for Chinese and foreign youth.
The College of International Education has leveraged its "one-stop, integrated, and comprehensive" cultural experience platform, the Center for Research and Experience of Traditional Chinese Culture, to innovate immersive cultural experiences and international communication models. Through a series of well-structured and content-rich cultural exchange activities, the university has established a strong brand in international student education. After an application process involving submission by CIE, university recommendation, and expert evaluation, the course "Experiencing and Promoting Chinese Culture" was selected as an outstanding course on Chinese national conditions education for international students, while the "Center for Research and Experience of Traditional Chinese Culture" was designated as a social practice activity base for Chinese and foreign youth.
