Wang Jun，professor，master's supervisor. She earned her bachelor's degree from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Shandong University in 1990, followed by a master's degree in Chinese Linguistics from the School of Literature and Journalism at Shandong University in 1993. In 1999, she obtained her Ph.D. in Chinese Linguistics from the same institution.
Research Interests:Theory and Practice of International Chinese Education,International Communication of Language and Culture,Modern Chinese Lexicology
Teaching Experience:Since 1993, Professor Wang has been engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. She has extensive experience in instructing international students in various language courses, including intensive reading, speaking, listening, and reading & writing. She has also developed innovative courses on integrated vocabulary instruction for advanced learners.For both domestic and international undergraduate students, she teaches specialized courses such as:Introduction to Teaching Chinese as an International Language,Chinese Language Classroom Teaching Design, andAdvanced Chinese Vocabulary.For graduate students, she offers courses including:Chinese Linguistic Studies Based on Second Language Teaching,Chinese Vocabulary and Its Teaching, andChinese Teaching Methodology in Practice.She has alsodelivered training courses for various overseas Chinese language teacher training programs and at National Chengchi University in Taiwan, covering topics such as:Methods for Teaching Chinese Vocabulary,Classroom Organization and Teaching Techniques in Chinese Language Education,Developing Chinese Speaking Skills, andChinese Language Teaching Materials and Pedagogy in Mainland China.
International Experience:Since 2003, Professor Wang has been sent abroad multiple times as an expert lecturer, conducting overseas teacher training at institutions such as Seoul National University,Chungnam National University Confucius Institutes in South Korea, as well as Nanyang Technological University Confucius Institute in Singapore. In 2008, she participated in the National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Hanban) Advanced Training Program for Chinese Language Education at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada.

Awards and Honors:Outstanding Teaching Expert (4th Award, Shandong University),March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetter (Shandong University),Outstanding Communist Party Member (Shandong University).Her monograph Studies on the Chinese Semantic System(《汉语词义系统研究》)was awarded Third Prize in the 2006 Shandong Provincial Higher Education Outstanding Research Achievements (Monographs) Award. The teaching reform project Exploration and Practice in Cultivating International, Interdisciplinary Chinese Language Teaching Talent (co-authored)（《国际化、复合型汉语师资人才培养体系的探索与实践》）receivedShandong University Teaching Achievement Special Prize (2008)andShandong Provincial Teaching Achievement Third Prize (2008).
