Zhang Xueguang

Zhang Xueguang, male, Ph.D. Candidate, Lecturer, graduated from the Department of Sociology of Peking University in 2003. In 2006, he graduated from the Education College of Peking University with Advanced Ed.M.

His main research areas are: education, second language acquisition research.

Teaching experience: He has been engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL) since 2006. He has taught basic foreign language courses for foreign students, such as intensive reading, speaking, listening, reading and writing. He has taught "teaching theory", "educational principles" and "education management" for undergraduates; taught "Second Language Acquisition Research" for graduate students; delivered lectures of "Schema theory and TCFL" and "Teaching Chinese Reading and Writing for Foreigners" for overseas Chinese teacher training classes.

Main academic achievements: He published many academic papers such as The Application of Schema Theory in TCFL, Difficulties in Chinese Writing for Foreign Students and the Tasks of TCFL, "Competitive Resource Allocation Mechanism" in the College Entrance Examination System, and On School Education and Social Equality. He has participated in many research projects such as "Study on Chinese Learning Strategies for International Preparatory Students Studying in China".
